So much more than just a card…
SPICE!
The moment I saw this word on a piece of burlap, I was transported to a very special place in my childhood, where the air was always filled with the fragrance of exotic spices from far away lands. This card is in remembrance of that place and gone by days, and of all the spices I still love so much. The color of the fabric reminded me of nutmeg and cinnamon, so I created super simple, easy as 1, 2, 3 and quite delicious recipes, with both of these soothing spices.
8 -10 oz of Vanilla Soymilk or Vanilla Almond Milk or
Plain Soymilk or Almond Milk with a dash of Pure Vanilla Extract
A Sprinkling of Nutmeg or Cinnamon
Mix, heat and enjoy, or chill depending on your mood or the season!
Makes a smooth, velvety, delicious autumn/winter beverage with a consistency akin to eggnog if using soymilk. If using almond milk and cinnamon, you’ll have a refreshing cup of refreshing and tasty Horchata! Whichever combo you decide on, it’s a win win and so good for you! :)

Frolicking Feline
I used to see this adorable little kitten in the window of restaurant in the city. He or she was so playful, as playful as if it were my own! I love the way the photo turned out, more like a pastel painting. I really love when that happens. One of my favorite works. I had hoped to stop by and gift the restaurant owner(s) with this card, but it was not to be, as the restaurant went the way of way too many, in this pandemic era…forever CLOSED
Have the Donut!
I “donut” know about you, but donuts make me smile and soooo happy, but they also tend to add pounds to me! Try as I might to stay away from them, every now and then, one catches up to me, such as this one, perfectly dressed for the occasion, much to my delight! So while this gorgeous donut’s long gone (and it really was delicious!), here is an ode to a sweet memory and your opportunity to enjoy that sweetness with zero, as in 0, calories!!! So have one or many, and share the love! with a baker’s dozen!
ESPRESSO EXPRESSIONS!

“What?”
That’s what I imagined this character saying, based on his expression! Surely that heap of snow on his head has something to do with his look of surprise or perhaps someone’s just told him something unbelievable! I also thought he looked like a “rocker”! Is that an earring? Had a good giggle when I came across this door knocker, one snowy evening in New York City. It sort of distracted me from the cold or frost rather, because I do recall, it was freeeezing! But that did not stop me from capturing the moment! Sure to brighten up the day of someone you know.

The wonder of creation, the love of sharing and a whole lot of work goes into each of my cards, combined with my desire to do my part to make the world a better place.
