First card of the Month since January 2023! In honor of my Mom on Mother’s Day, a beautiful, simple and intricately designed pansy.

One of the things I love about pansies besides their symbolizing compassion, remembrance, faithfulness, and thoughtfulness, is their almost invisible (if you never look down!) yet spectacular attributes…You have to meet them where they are, as in much lower than with most flowers. Unlike statuesque and showy sunflowers, the pansy must be intentionally sought out before it can be fully appreciated.
